BERWICK — A 67-year-old man was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Portland Street near its intersection with Old Route 4.
Berwick Police and Fire Departments, along with Stewarts Ambulance, responded to the scene after the man, whose identity has not been released, was ejected from his vehicle.
He was transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities from North Berwick, South Berwick, and Windham assisted at the crash site.
The Kennebunk Police Department is currently reconstructing the incident to determine the cause.
