Springfield man arrested for aggravated domestic assault

SPRINGFIELD — In the early hours of Aug. 21, Springfield police responded to a domestic assault report at a local residence, leading to the arrest of David Fuller for 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault.

Corporal Perkins and Officer Freeman of the Springfield Police Department were dispatched at 3:54 a.m. and arrived on the scene to find that Fuller had allegedly threatened a family member with a deadly weapon and attempted to use it.

Fuller was taken into custody at 4:20 a.m. without further incident.

Following his arrest, Fuller was processed at the Springfield Police Department and issued a citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, at 12:30 p.m. on the same day to face charges.

He was then lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility and held without bail.
