EAST PROVIDENCE — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman involved in a hit-and-run collision that took place on Newport Avenue around 7 p.m. on Aug. 14.
The suspect is described as a black female who was wearing scrubs at the time of the incident.
She was last seen driving a newer model silver Chevrolet Trax SUV.
Detective Patrick Kelley is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the female suspect to get in touch.
