SEARSBURG — A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning led to several charges against a Bennington man, Vermont State Police said.
Matthew Pleasant, 39, was arrested following the incident on Aug. 18 at 6:40 a.m., when police were called to the scene in Searsburg.
Pleasant was charged with DUI -1, gross negligent operation, and duty to stop at the scene of an accident (LSA).
Troopers located Pleasant and his vehicle upon arrival and conducted an investigation, which resulted in his arrest.
Pleasant, who resides in Bennington, is scheduled to appear before the Bennington County Superior Court-Criminal Division on Sept. 9 at 8:15 a.m.
