East Hampton man, 81, killed in two-car crash

EAST HAMPTON — A two-vehicle collision on Aug. 15 claimed the life of an 81-year-old East Hampton man, authorities said.

The East Hampton Police Department reported that the crash occurred around 3:27 p.m. near 93 E.

High St. Salvatore Ciurcina was identified as the deceased driver who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police, fire department crews, and the East Hampton Ambulance Association responded to the accident.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the department’s Accident Reconstructionist.
