MOULTONBOROUGH — Moultonborough Police Department, alongside other agencies, has been responding to reports of animal abuse occurring over the past week, Chief Peter W. Beede, Jr. said in a statement.
The police are actively investigating the incidents, but due to the involvement of a juvenile, details regarding the case remain confidential. “I just want the public to know that the Moultonborough Police Department is investigating the incidents,” Beede stated, emphasizing the department’s commitment to the case.
The chief expressed gratitude for the community’s assistance in the investigation and assured residents that efforts are being made to process the case through the judicial system.
Beede requested the public’s understanding concerning the sensitivity of the matter and the restrictions on releasing information.
As the case progresses, the department will continue to work within legal constraints to address the situation.
Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, while also respecting the privacy of the individuals involved.
