EAST HAMPTON — The East Hampton Police Department announced the arrest of 61-year-old Scott Predom on multiple charges, including second, third, and fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and first-degree public indecency.
Predom, a resident of Middletown at 500 Washington St., was taken into custody on Aug. 14 and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
He is scheduled for presentment at Middletown Superior Court.
According to the police, the arrest followed an investigation that began after an incident was reported on March 21.
The investigation revealed that Predom had sexually assaulted a juvenile male on various occasions in East Hampton between June and November of 2022.
