PROVIDENCE — Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks had a busy day with multiple arrests following traffic stops and accident investigations, including charges for forgery and firearm violations.
At 3 p.m., troopers arrested Breani Hill, 27, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates.
The arrest occurred after a vehicle stop on Thurbers Avenue.
Hill was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released pending a future court appearance at Sixth Division District Court.
Later that evening at 6 p.m., Robin Machado, 52, of Blackstone, Massachusetts, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in vehicle damage and obstructing an officer’s duties.
Machado was taken to the barracks, processed, and transferred to State Police Headquarters to be held overnight as a probation violator.
Simultaneously, Adilson Carvalho, 24, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, faced similar charges as Machado for his involvement in a separate vehicle accident.
Carvalho was also held overnight to be presented at Sixth Division District Court as a bail violator.
In the early hours at 1:49 a.m., Kayla Silva, 35, of Cranston, Rhode Island, was arrested on multiple firearm-related charges, including carrying a firearm without a permit and possession of a firearm by a convicted violent felon.
Silva’s arrest followed a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street.
She was held at the Lincoln Woods Barracks overnight as a probation violator, with a court presentation pending.
