BOSTON — At about 6:42 p.m., on Monday, officers from the Boston Police Department’s District C-11 responded to a call reporting a shooting at 5 Trent St. in Dorchester, where they found two men with gunshot wounds.
Upon arrival, police located the victims, both adult males, and provided on-scene treatment before transporting them to a local hospital.
One of the men was pronounced dead, while the other is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
