SIMSBURY — A motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Hartford Avenue at the intersection with Main Street resulted in one fatality early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 6:04 a.m., the Simsbury Police Department was alerted to the incident through multiple 911 calls.
Police, fire, and EMS units were dispatched to the scene where they found an individual who had been seriously injured in the two-vehicle crash.
Despite immediate medical attention and quick transport to St. Francis Hospital, the victim’s injuries proved fatal, leading to their pronouncement of death at the medical facility.
The investigation into the cause of the tragic accident is ongoing, with authorities actively seeking information from potential eyewitnesses.
