EVERETT — After a lengthy investigation, members of the Everett Police Special Investigations Unit, in collaboration with Revere Police, executed a search warrant at a Revere residence, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs.
The operation took place at 20 Hysil Ave, where Alea Martinez, 35, and Kyle Robinson, 37, both residents of Revere, were arrested without incident.
Police recovered several hundred pills during the raid, which are believed to be fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid, packaged for distribution.
Everett Police Chief Paul Strong commended the collaborative efforts that led to the arrests. “This is a great example of interagency coordination and enforcement, leading to taking drugs off the street and placing suspects in custody,” Strong said.
Martinez and Robinson have been charged with drug possession and trafficking-related offenses.
They are scheduled for arraignment in Chelsea District Court on Friday.
As with all criminal cases, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
