MERRIMACK — Merrimack Police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm at a residence on Adams Ave on Aug. 7 at approximately 7:40 p.m.
Officers quickly secured the scene, confirming the safety of all individuals inside the home.
A perimeter was established around the area as a precautionary measure.
The Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit was called to assist with the situation.
After a thorough search, the house and surrounding area were deemed safe.
However, the suspect involved in the incident was not located at the scene.
Authorities have reassured the community that there is no known threat to the general public at this time.
The investigation continues as officials work to apprehend the suspect, and criminal charges may be pending.
