Police investigate theft from Irasburg barn

IRASBURG — Vermont State Police are investigating a theft from a barn on West Glover Road in Irasburg, reported on Sunday, August 4.

At around 1:45 p.m., troopers received a report that someone had forcibly entered the barn through a back door and stolen several items, including a push lawn mower, weed whacker, and various tools. The theft is believed to have occurred within the two weeks prior to the report.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at this time. State Police are reminding residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
