BOW — A Bow man convicted of attempted murder and other charges was sentenced yesterday to more than 22 years in prison, the Bow Police Department announced following the proceedings at the Merrimack County Superior Court.
Terrence Sleweon, who was arrested on Nov. 28, 2021, faced charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault, and being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.
His arrest stemmed from an incident where a female was seriously injured after being stabbed in the neck.
The original incident took place at a residence on 169 Bow Bog Rd, where Bow Police Officers responded to a disturbance call around 11:44 a.m. The victim was quickly transported to Concord Hospital with serious injuries.
Sleweon, identified as the assailant, was taken into custody and found to have active warrants from the Rochester and Manchester Police Departments.
The New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes Unit assisted in the investigation, which remained active following Sleweon’s arrest.
