Providence man arrested for multiple warrants, Pawtucket woman faces drug charges

PROVIDENCE — A Providence man was arrested by state troopers on Saturday afternoon for multiple outstanding warrants, including larceny and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

At 1:30 p.m., Edwin H. Ramos, 40, of 35 Autumn Street, was taken into custody after troopers responded to a call about a pedestrian on Route 95 in Providence.

Ramos was wanted on three Providence Superior Court Bench Warrants related to charges originating from the Providence Police Department.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks before being transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Later that same day at 10:51 p.m., troopers arrested Samantha A.

Delorenzo, 34, of 42 Amey Street, Apartment 2, Pawtucket, for possession of a controlled substance.

Delorenzo’s arrest details have not been fully disclosed.
