COVENTRY — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the owner of a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a dog injured.
The Coventry Police Department released a statement seeking information about a dark-colored Chevy or GMC pickup truck.
The vehicle is believed to be connected to an incident where a dog was struck and the driver subsequently left the scene without reporting the accident.
Officer Santiago of the Coventry Police is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information to come forward.
