MANCHESTER — A brother and sister face charges in connection with a shooting incident at Arms Park last month, police said Tuesday.

John Williams, 21, and Ava Williams, 18, both of Hudson, were arrested following an investigation into reports of shots fired at the park on July 1.

Manchester police responded to Arms Park around 12:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.

Witnesses told officers they saw a white car speeding through the parking lot and firing shots before fleeing the area.

Investigators determined John Williams allegedly fired a gun from the vehicle while his sister Ava was driving, according to police.

John Williams was arrested last month and charged with four counts of reckless conduct and witness tampering.

Ava Williams turned herself in to police on Aug. 1 and faces charges of reckless conduct, falsifying evidence, and false reports to law enforcement.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective James Pittman at 603-792-5551.
