New Haven man faces charges of domestic assault and unlawful restraint

NEW HAVEN — Vermont State Police arrested a local man Wednesday evening on charges of domestic assault and unlawful restraint following a family dispute in Monkton.

Troopers responded to the incident at around 5:59 p.m. on July 10.

During the investigation, they determined that Timothy A. Paquette, 27, had committed the alleged offenses.

Paquette was apprehended on July 31 and brought to the New Haven Barracks for processing.

Following his release, Paquette received a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court’s Criminal division on Aug. 1.

The Vermont State Police have not disclosed the victim’s identity, adhering to policies regarding cases of sexual assault and domestic violence.
