ST. JOHNSBURY — On July 30, at around 7:46 p.m., state troopers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at 1054 New Boston Road.
Upon arrival, authorities located the vehicle and identified the operator as 36-year-old Krystal Taylor of St. Johnsbury.
After an investigation, it was determined that Taylor was operating the vehicle under the influence.
The owner of the stolen vehicle was identified as 77-year-old Shirley Newell, also a resident of St. Johnsbury.
Taylor was arrested and processed at the St. Johnsbury barracks, and has been cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court to face charges of operating without the owner’s consent and driving under the influence (DUI).
