BURLINGTON — A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Milton man on charges of driving under the influence.

Vermont State Troopers responded to the scene at the Interstate 89 Exit 14 Northbound On Ramp at approximately 1:17 a.m. where they found 28-year-old Ryan Haley, who had apparently lost control of his vehicle.

Upon interacting with Haley, troopers observed signs of impairment.

After a field investigation, Haley was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

He declined to submit to a breath test, resulting in an additional charge of DUI refusal.

Haley was released with a citation to appear in the Chittenden County Superior Court-Criminal Division on Aug. 15 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charges.
