TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus announced the arrest of a New Hampshire man charged in connection with a recent shooting incident in Tewksbury.

Khale Guillou, age 19, of Swanzey, NH, was apprehended and is facing multiple charges including assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, assault and battery with a firearm, and vandalization of property.

The Tewksbury Police Department responded to a shooting report on July 15 around 5 a.m.

The initial probe revealed that a blue Nissan Rogue and a silver Mazda had exited the Home Depot parking lot and were traveling south on Main Street when the Mazda allegedly fired several shots at the Nissan before fleeing the scene.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Investigators established that the individuals involved knew each other and stressed that this was not a random act of violence.

Tewksbury Police, with support from the Massachusetts State Police and New Hampshire State Police, identified Guillou as the suspect.

Following the issuance of an arrest warrant, Guillou was taken into custody without incident.

He was arraigned in Lowell District Court on July 23.

During a subsequent dangerousness hearing on July 26, he was held without bail.

Guillou remains in custody and is set to reappear in court on August 16.

The Tewksbury Police continue to investigate the shooting.
