METHUEN — The Methuen Police Department has issued an alert for a missing teenager, Elijah Hayes, and is seeking assistance from the public.
Elijah, 16, was reported missing on July 27 after he was last seen leaving St. Ann’s Home on Broadway Street, heading south on foot.
He is described as having black eyes, black hair, a light complexion, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing approximately 145 pounds.
At the time of his disappearance, Elijah was wearing a white shirt with black shorts and cream-colored sandals.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Elijah’s whereabouts to contact the Methuen Police Department at 978-983-8698.
The police and Elijah’s family are concerned for his well-being and are asking the community to come forward with any details that could lead to his safe return.
