LYNN — The Lynn Police Department is actively searching for Brian Lopez, a missing 17-year-old Lynn resident who was last seen leaving his home on Warren Place on Friday morning.

Lopez, described as 5’10” tall, weighing 125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, left on foot around 10:30 a.m. He was last spotted wearing black pants, a grey and white striped hooded sweatshirt, a grey backpack, and grey Nike sneakers with a red Nike symbol.

Surveillance footage captured Lopez walking on Myrtle Street toward Walnut Street.

His cell phone was later found on Gardiner Street.

These searches have included the use of the State Police Air Wing, drones, K-9 units, mountain bikes, ATVs, and foot patrols.

Lopez is an employee of a Food Project in Lynn and Wenham.
