EVERETT — Police are investigating an assault that occurred around 7 a.m. today outside the Wellness Center on Maple Street.
The victim, who has not been named, was returning to her car when she was approached by a Spanish-speaking male on a moped.
According to authorities, the man opened her car door and exposed himself to her.
He then began to touch the victim, who screamed and caused the suspect to flee the scene on his moped.
The suspect is described as a young black male who speaks Spanish.
He was wearing a ski mask, long sleeves, a helmet, and was riding a moped without a license plate.
The victim was not physically injured and left the area with a friend following the incident.
