West Springfield police seek help identifying suspects in vehicle break-in, credit card theft

WEST SPRINGFIELD — The West Springfield Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a vehicle break-in and subsequent credit card theft that occurred on July 21.

A local resident reported the incident after discovering that her car had been illegally entered and various items, including credit cards, were stolen.

The stolen credit cards were later used at various retail locations in Holyoke and Springfield on the same day as the theft.

Authorities have released pictures of the individuals believed to be connected to the crime and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The department has emphasized that tipsters have the option to remain anonymous if they choose to provide information regarding the case, which is registered under WSPD CASE # 24-14516-OF.
