Everett police arrest two, seize drugs and cash in undercover operations

EVERETT — Two men are facing drug charges after the Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit conducted a pair of successful undercover operations, leading to arrests and the seizure of narcotics and money.

In the first operation, undercover officers purchased crack cocaine, which led to the arrest of a suspect.

A subsequent search resulted in the confiscation of additional cocaine, a scale, and $1,000 in U.S. currency.

The second operation saw officers again purchasing cocaine, after which the suspect’s vehicle was stopped.

With the assistance of Everett Police K9 Cooper, officers searched the vehicle and seized approximately 200 grams of cocaine and several grams of heroin.

The individuals apprehended were identified as Jaheim Patterson, 23, of Everett, and Johan Victorio Javier, 22, of Providence, Rhode Island.

Both suspects are charged with drug-related offenses and are scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Malden District Court.
