SHELDON — Troopers from the St. Albans Field Station arrested a local man on DUI charges following a citizen dispute involving a reportedly stolen truck early on July 25.
At approximately 5:25 a.m., authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of the incident.
The truck in question was returned to its location before the troopers’ arrival.
The operator, identified as 40-year-old Gary Foster II of Sheldon, exhibited signs of impairment during the interaction with law enforcement, according to the police report.
Foster was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the St. Albans Field Station for processing.
He has been issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on charges related to the incident.
Court action is pending as Foster awaits his appearance before the court.
