Two Pawtucket residents arrested on drug charges, Providence man apprehended for shoplifting

PROVIDENCE — Two Pawtucket residents were arrested on drug-related charges following separate traffic stops on Industrial Boulevard, police said.

At 4:50 p.m. on July 24, Rhode Island State Troopers detained Richard Wesson, 35, of 25 Fairmont Avenue, for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance, specifically MDMA, under 10 grams.

Wesson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future arraignment in the Sixth Division District Court.

During a similar incident on the same day and time, Colossians Jordan, 34, of 801 Weeden Street, was arrested for possessing a Schedule I-V controlled substance under 10 grams, identified as Psilocybin, and for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, marking his fourth or subsequent offense.

Jordan also was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released with a scheduled court appearance at a later date.

In a separate event on July 25 at 2:43 a.m., Troopers arrested Aris Pujols, 48, of 89 Cass Street, Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for shoplifting, which originated from the Coventry Police Department.

The arrest occurred after a vehicle stop on Whipple Avenue in Cranston.

Pujols was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and subsequently turned over to the Coventry Police Department.
