WORCESTER — Worcester Police officers arrested a man early July 24 for allegedly distributing crack cocaine on Main Street.
At around 12:36 a.m., officers were patrolling outside a business with posted “No Trespassing” signs when they noticed a male, later identified as 30-year-old Rawkeem Perry of Worcester, remove something from his sock.
Perry was observed placing the item on a rail, cutting it into pieces, and handing them to another individual, while frequently looking around.
The recipient of the suspected drugs was apprehended before Perry was taken into custody.
Police found three baggies of suspected crack cocaine in Perry’s sock and additional small pieces on the railing.
Drug paraphernalia was also discovered among Perry’s belongings.
Perry faces charges including Possession to Distribute a Class B Drug, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Trespassing.
The Worcester Police Department continues its efforts to combat drug distribution in the community.
