Londonderry man charged with domestic assault, property damage

LONDONDERRY — A domestic dispute in Londonderry led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful mischief, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers were called to the scene at a residence in Londonderry on July 23 at around 7:11 p.m. after receiving reports of a family fight.

Upon conclusion of the investigation, police determined Justin Merrow had injured a member of his household and damaged property during the altercation.

Merrow, a resident of Londonderry, was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

He was issued conditions of release and held on $1,500 bail.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on July 24 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.

The Vermont State Police has not released the name of the victim, adhering to policies regarding the confidentiality of individuals involved in sexual assault or domestic violence incidents.
