Waterford police seek help identifying theft suspect

WATERFORD — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole merchandise from a local Target store on July 14.

According to the Waterford Police Department, the suspect entered the retail location at around 4:47 p.m. and took a hoverboard and scooter without paying for them.

The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be approximately $700.

After leaving the cashier area, the man reportedly exited the store and drove away in a dark-colored SUV.

Police have not yet identified the individual and are reaching out to the community for help.
