ENOSBURGH — Authorities are intensifying their efforts to locate 82-year-old Roberta Martin after she went missing near her Butternut Hollow Road residence.

The Vermont State Police, alongside multiple agencies, dedicated Friday to an extensive search covering over 1,500 acres but have yet to find the Enosburgh resident.

The search was accompanied by a warrant executed in the morning at a neighboring property, involving the Crime Scene Search Team.

Despite the day-long effort, Martin remained missing as of 11:10 p.m. Friday.

Detectives are actively conducting interviews and gathering evidence, while the Victim Services Unit is extending support to Martin’s family.

Officials are treating her disappearance as suspicious based on the current information.

The continued search will involve the Criminal Division detectives, who plan to work through the weekend.

The state police have called for public vigilance during the ongoing investigation.

While there is no immediate indication of a broader community threat, residents are urged to maintain security by locking homes and vehicles and staying observant.

The Vermont State Police is asking anyone with information that might aid the case to contact the St. Albans barracks at 802-524-5993 or provide an anonymous tip online at https://vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit.
