Middleton man dies after being trapped under dump truck

MIDDLETON — State Police are investigating after a Middleton man was found dead under a dump truck on Access Road Thursday afternoon.

William Miners III, 53, was discovered trapped under the vehicle at approximately 2:06 p.m. after a 2012 Ford F-550 pickup truck he was working with rolled backward, pinning him beneath it.

Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene due to injuries sustained.

New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop A barracks, along with the Wakefield Police Department, Wakefield Fire Rescue Department, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, OSHA, and Crowell’s Towing & Repair, responded to the call at 101 Access Road.

While initial reports suggest the incident was a tragic accident, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine all contributing factors.
