BROWNINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was involved in a rollover accident on Chapdelaine Rd.
Belinda Turk, 39, who is currently homeless, was taken into custody around 10 p.m. on July 18 after her vehicle went off the road and overturned multiple times.
Authorities say Turk was driving west when she lost control on a curve and her vehicle rolled on the north side of the road.
She sustained minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
When troopers arrived, they noticed signs of impairment and an odor of alcohol.
After further investigation, Turk was arrested for DUI refusal.
Following the arrest, Turk was processed at the Derby State Police Barracks and released with a citation.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 6 to face DUI charges.
