Police seek help to find missing East Boston man

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 29-year-old Jeffrey Cooper of East Boston, who was last seen on Tuesday, July 11, in the vicinity of Border Street.

Cooper is described as a black male, around 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and eyeglasses.

He was wearing a green “B” baseball cap, a white Red Sox jersey, blue jeans, and white sneakers when he was last seen.

Authorities are concerned for Jeffrey’s well-being as he has a developmental disability and has previously gone missing and been found in the Fenway area.

He is known to frequent areas around train stations, riding the MBTA, and often walks in the Massachusetts Avenue/Northeastern University area, Kenmore/Fenway area, and the Downtown/Mass General Hospital area.

The Boston Police are asking anyone with information about Jeffrey Cooper’s whereabouts to contact 911 or reach out to Area A-7 Detectives at 617-343-4234.

The public’s assistance is crucial in the efforts to locate Jeffrey and ensure his safe return.
