Medford man arrested in connection with vehicle vandalism spree

MEDFORD — Police arrested a man Saturday afternoon in connection with a series of vehicle vandalisms at a local garage.

At around 3:30 p.m., officers executed an arrest warrant at 175 Rivers Edge Drive, apprehending Jonathan Post, 46, of Arlington, on an outstanding warrant for Malicious Destruction of Property over $1200.

The arrest followed multiple reports of vehicles being vandalized in the garage of 150 Rivers Edge Drive.

The Medford Police Department’s Detective Unit reviewed surveillance footage and were able to positively identify Post.

He remains a suspect in several other incidents of damaged motor vehicles.

Post was scheduled to be arraigned today in Somerville District Court.
