St. Albans man cited for disturbing the peace in Waterbury

WATERBURY — A St. Albans man was cited for disturbing the peace after an incident involving electronic communication on July 12.

Vermont State Police said they responded to a citizen dispute complaint at a residence on S Main St in Waterbury at about 1:43 p.m. Upon arrival, troopers made contact with Myles Gonthier, 22, of St. Albans.

The investigation determined that Gonthier committed a violation of Title 13 V.S.A. 1027, which pertains to disturbing the peace through electronic communication, against Jason Grasso, 49, of Waterbury.

Gonthier was issued a citation at the scene and released.

Further details on the nature of the electronic communication were not provided.

The Vermont State Police – Berlin Barracks are handling the ongoing investigation.
