NORWOOD — Emergency responders evacuated residents from the William Shyne Circle apartment complex Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in the building.
The Norwood Police Department and Norwood Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire at approximately 11:30 a.m., officials said.
Police officers assisted firefighters in evacuating tenants from the complex while fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
The Norwood Fire Department quickly contained and extinguished the fire, according to local authorities.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Officials have not yet released information about the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the building.
