BOSTON — Five people, including an 11-year-old, were shot Wednesday night in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood, police said.
The shooting occurred around 9:48 p.m. at 10 Greenwood St. in Dorchester, according to the Boston Police Department.
Officers responding to reports of gunfire found five victims with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims include an 11-year-old juvenile, two 21-year-old males, a 21-year-old female, and a 20-year-old female.
All were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police also discovered a vehicle with ballistic damage near Washington Street.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident.
