AUBURN — Two 17-year-old males were arrested Wednesday after allegedly stabbing another juvenile outside a McDonald’s restaurant, police said.
Auburn police responded to reports of a fight involving a knife at approximately 6:22 p.m. outside the McDonald’s at 72 Auburn Street.
Officers found a juvenile male with non-life-threatening injuries who was transported to a Worcester hospital for treatment of puncture and slash wounds to his left arm.
Witnesses told police two males fled the scene after the incident.
Officers located and identified two 17-year-old suspects nearby shortly after.
Detectives used video evidence to take both into custody.
The suspects were charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), assault and battery, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
One juvenile faces an additional charge of possession of a class E drug.
Both suspects were held on $5,040 bail and brought to Worcester Juvenile Court on Thursday.
The Auburn Police Detective Bureau is continuing to investigate.
