Silver alert issued for missing New Haven teen Jayden List-Jones

NEW HAVEN — A silver alert has been activated for 13-year-old Jayden List-Jones, who was reported missing since July 8.

Jayden, described as a Black male with brown hair and eyes, was last seen wearing a plain grey T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, he has been classified as an endangered runaway.

The Yale University Police Department is urging anyone with information on Jayden’s whereabouts to contact them at 203-432-4400.

Additionally, the Connecticut State Police Communications Center State Police Missing Person Clearinghouse is available at 860-685-8190 for any leads.

Authorities have employed alert technology to locate the missing teen and are working to determine if he may have been exploited.

Community members and local officials are on high alert as the search continues.

The Connecticut State Police have not released further details about the circumstances of Jayden’s disappearance but are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that may assist in the safe return of Jayden List-Jones.
