LEWISTON — The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, in collaboration with the Lewiston Police Department, has announced the arrest of three individuals for aggravated trafficking in fentanyl and endangering the welfare of a child.
Dylan Tessier, 24, Normand Tessier, 63, and Tamesha Parker, 31, all residents of Lewiston, were apprehended on Tuesday, July 9 at approximately 7 a.m. following the execution of a search warrant at their residence on 229 Blake Street, apartment 1.
The operation was the culmination of a month-long investigation targeting the illicit distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
During the raid, agents and officers discovered and seized about 80 grams of fentanyl ready for sale, an AK47 semi-automatic rifle, and $2,500 in suspected drug proceeds.
The street value of the fentanyl is estimated at $10,000.
In addition to the three adults, a 9-year-old child was found in the apartment and was safely released to a relative not associated with the residence.
The State’s Department of Health and Human Services has been notified to address safety concerns for the child.
Bail for the Tessiers has been set at $25,000 each, while Parker’s bail was set at $250.
All three were taken to the Androscoggin County Jail and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
