BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department’s District D-4 arrested two individuals, Alan Charles, 18, of Brockton, and a 17-year-old juvenile, on armed robbery charges late Monday night after a 911 call reported a person with a gun at 157 Massachusetts Ave.

The incident occurred around 10:58 p.m., when officers responded to the Back Bay address.

The victim told police he had been assaulted and robbed of his moped scooter by two males demanding he start the vehicle.

During the confrontation, one of the suspects reportedly brandished a firearm, pointed it at the victim, and struck him in the face with it before both suspects fled on the stolen moped.

The victim, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, provided descriptions of the suspects to the police.

He was also able to track his moped via a GPS device, leading officers to locate it behind a building on Beacon Street.

Officers canvassing the area apprehended Charles and the juvenile suspect on adjacent streets.

Charles is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of armed robbery with a firearm.

The juvenile will also face arraignment in Roxbury District Court on charges of delinquent armed robbery with a firearm.
