Woodbury trooper seeks hit-and-run pickup driver

WOODBURY — A black Ford pickup truck struck a Toyota RAV4 at the intersection of Old Town Farm Road and Route 6 around noon today, causing minor damage before fleeing the scene, according to the Woodbury Resident Trooper Office.

The collision, which happened at approximately 12 p.m., involved a Ford pickup with potential damage to its driver side front quarter panel.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle appeared to be lifted with large tires and emitted a plume of black smoke as it sped away from the accident site.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of the Ford pickup.

Officer Defeo, LC 46, urges anyone with information about the incident to call the Woodbury Resident Trooper Office at 203-263-3400.
