CRANSTON — Police are searching for a 29-year-old woman who has been missing for nearly two weeks.
Shakala R. Robinson was last seen in Cranston on Wednesday, June 19.
She is described as a Black female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with braided black hair and brown eyes.
Robinson was wearing a gray or tan tank top, blue jeans, and black open-toed sandals when she disappeared.
She may have been carrying a peach-colored purse.
Police say she has a heart tattoo on her inner forearm.
Originally from Boston, Robinson has family there and a previous address in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Authorities received information that she may be with a woman named Jasmine, but no further details about this individual are known.
The Cranston Police Department has entered Robinson into the National Crime Information Center database as a missing person.
Detective Michael Iacone of the Cranston Police Special Victims Unit is leading the investigation.
