WEBSTER — Webster police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspected porch pirate.
The Webster Police Department released images of the unidentified individual on social media Tuesday, asking residents to assist in the investigation.
Officer Shane Murray is leading the effort to locate the suspect, who is believed to have stolen packages from residential porches in the area.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Murray via email at [email protected] or to send a private message to the department’s social media page.
Authorities have requested that members of the public refrain from posting names in the comments section of the social media post to protect the integrity of the investigation.
The department has not released further details about the incidents or the number of thefts potentially linked to the suspect at this time.
