HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a local man following an assault on Whitetail Drive on June 21.
At around 5:57 p.m. on Thursday, authorities responded to a reported assault incident.
Christopher Duprey, 29, allegedly assaulted Dalton Toprani, 30, of St. Albans.
After an investigation, police located Duprey and took him into custody.
Duprey was processed at the St. Albans Barracks and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on June 24 at 1 p.m. to face a simple assault charge.
