PROVIDENCE — A series of arrests were made by the Rhode Island State Police on June 12, including the apprehension of a Greenville woman on multiple drug charges following a barracks investigation.
At 7:50 a.m., troopers took Jennifer Bonsante, 45, into custody on an affidavit arrest warrant from the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
She faces charges of possession with intent to deliver and possession of controlled substances, including Alprazolam, Bromazolam, Amphetamines, and Clonazepam, after being located by Providence Police.
Bonsante was later taken to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
Later, at 11:34 a.m., Bryan Lindsey, 37, was arrested for failing to appear in court on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Lindsey’s arrest occurred during a traffic stop on Route 146 in Providence.
He was processed at the barracks and transported to Providence Superior Court.
In the afternoon, Juan Rodriguez, 27, of Warwick, surrendered to the Lincoln Woods Barracks and was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on a warrant for reckless driving.
He was processed and also transported to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 3:49 p.m., Marlin Nunez, 23, from North Providence, turned herself in for charges including forgery and counterfeiting, fraudulent checks over $1,500, obtaining property by false pretenses, and computer access.
Nunez was arraigned and released pending a future court date.
The final arrest for June 12 was of Jesse Brelos, 38, at 8:25 p.m., for failing to stop after an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
He was processed and released with a future court date after his arraignment.
The series of arrests continued into the early hours of June 13 when Maximo Berroa, 29, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. for an active Family Court bench warrant related to a non-criminal charge.
This arrest was made during a vehicle stop on Peace Street in Providence, and Berroa was processed at the barracks before being transferred to the Men’s Intake Center.
