PROVIDENCE — A routine motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of a Woonsocket man early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

At 1:24 a.m. on June 12, Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks apprehended 27-year-old Seedy Camara on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court for an arraignment on a charge of driving with an expired license.

The original charge stemmed from the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest took place on Orms Street in Providence.

Following the stop, Camara was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.

He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and subsequently released.

Camara is scheduled for a Third Division District Court arraignment at a later date.
