NEW HAVEN — Vermont State Police arrested a 30-year-old Colchester man for allegedly sending threatening text messages to a former family member.
Authorities said Alex Billado was charged with criminal threatening following an investigation into the incident, which was reported to the New Haven Barracks at 6:49 p.m. on June 4.
Billado, who was on probation at the time of the incident, was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility for violating probation terms.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Addison Criminal Division, on July 29 at 12:30 p.m.
